On 4 June 2021, IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas delivered a presentation on “Cooperation on Migration and Refugees in Turkey-EU Relations” as a part of the webinar series hosted by Yıldız Technical University (YTU) Sosyopark Interdisciplinary Group on Migration Studies. IKV Secretary General Nas talked about how stemming irregular migration and cooperation on Syrian refugees have gained importance in the context of Turkey-EU relations. Assoc. Prof. Nas also highlighted the importance of the Turkey-EU Readmission Agreement which was signed in 2013, the visa liberalisation roadmap, the Turkey-EU Joint Action Plan of 29 November 2015 and the Turkey-EU Statement of 18 March 2016.
