IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas delivered a speech at the Europe Week event organised by Marmara University Jean Monnet Chair (EUMULTI) held by Prof. Emel Parlar Dal. Delivering a presentation on the theme "European Green Deal and Climate Action", IKV Secretary General Nas stated that the Green Deal is an effort aimed at creating a model in line with Paris Climate Agreement objectives. Assoc. Prof. Nas emphasized that the Green Deal implies a comprehensive and radical transformation for the EU, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030 and reach climate-neutrality by 2050 with the climate law. Other speakers of the event were Istanbul Policy Center Senior Scholar Dr. Ümit Şahin and President of Paris Bosphorus Institute Dr. Bahadır Kaleağası.
