On 27 March 2021, TOBB and IKV Brussels Representative Haluk Nuray spoke at the webinar entitled “Turkey-EU Relations after the EU Summit” organised by SETA Brussels. TRT Brussels Representative Döndü Sarıışık and Istanbul Bilgi University faculty member and former IKV Secretary General Emre Gönen were the other panellists of webinar which was moderated by SETA Brussels Coordinator Talha Köse. Referring to the different elements of the positive agenda, Nuray stated that the modernisation of the Customs Union and cooperation on refugees were given precedence. Nuray indicated that Turkey-EU relations in particular the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean would be monitored by the EU and the Council will revert to the issue in June.
