The "Hear the CSOs (CSSPII / 062)" project, which was conducted by the EU and Global Research Association (ABKAD), with the partnership of IKV and the affiliation of European Communities Research and Application Center (ATAUM) and the Jean Monnet Scholars Association. The purpose of the EU-funded project CSSP-II / 062, which is implemented under Civil Society Support Program-II, was to strengthen the knowledge infrastructure of civil society organisations (CSOs) regarding the Turkey-EU Customs Union, as well as to contribute to policy-making processes by improving their communication and advocacy skills. Another important goal of the project was; to draft and publish reports regarding the modernisation and expansion of the Customs Union, established with 1/95 Decision of the Turkey-EU Association Council and entered into force on 1 January 1996, to other sectors namely services, agricultural sector, public procurements. Also, the consultation mechanisms and settlement of disputes of the Customs Union were among the priority subjects of the project.
