The modernisation of the Customs Union was discussed at an online event held on 21 October 2020 within the scope of the "Hear the CSOs” project carried out by ABKAD in partnership with IKV. The opening speeches of the event were delivered by IKV Vice-Chairman Prof. Halûk Kabaalioğlu, ABKAD President Murat Kavalalı and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General for Relations with the EU Ambassador Başak Türkoğlu. Prof. M. Tuğrul Arat from TOBB University presented the report on “Proposals for the Expansion of the Customs Union” at the event moderated by TEPAV Multilateral Trade Studies Centre Director Ambassador Bozkurt Aran.
