IKV and Turkey EU Forum jointly organised an online seminar entitled “EU-Turkey Relations under the German Presidency: A Breakthrough Opportunity?” on 16 July 2020.

IKV Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, EU Turkey Forum Chair Kris Peeters and Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey Christian Berger delivered opening speeches of the webinar which was moderated by EU Turkey Forum Secretary General Laura Batalla Adam.

The panellists of the webinar included IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas, IEP-Berlin Director Funda Tekin, and diplomatic correspondent of Die Zeit journal Michael Taumann whereas EP's Standing Rapporteur on Turkey Nacho Sánchez Amor delivered the closing speech on the state of play in Turkey-EU relations. During the webinar, prospects and challenges for Turkey-EU relations under the German EU Presidency were discussed in detail.
