As IKV, we have decided to postpone all our public events until further notice due to the coronavirus outbreak. The coronavirus (COVID-19), which has spread rapidly all over the world and caused thousands of deaths in many countries, including China, Italy and Iran, has been declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation. Pandemics are the general names given to epidemics that spread to a wide part of the world rapidly. The coronavirus, which has no medication or vaccine, has been spreading rapidly and threatening public health. For this reason, in order to prevent the virus from spreading further and threatening our health, it is crucial to wash hands frequently, not to be in public and crowded spaces, and to avoid close contact. As announced by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, in our country so far 18 people have been diagnosed with the virus. It is vital that the measures taken are meticulously implemented and that our people behave consciously on the matter.
