IKV Brussels Representative Haluk Nuray met with Head of EU Delegation in Turkey Christian Berger who was appointed to his position in July on 7 October 2016. The latest developments with respect to Turkey-EU relations were discussed and information with respect to IKV’s activities was shared during the meeting.

As it is known, former Head of EU Delegation in Turkey Ambassador Hansjörg Haber had announced his resignation from his position on 14 June 2016. Following this development, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini had appointed to this position the Director for Middle East at the European External Action Service Christian Berger on 27 July 2016.
