IKV ANALYZES TURKEY’S ROLE AS A EUROPEAN AND REGIONAL HUB:
“IS TURKEY A EUROPEAN AND REGIONAL HUB? IMPLICATIONS FOR EUROPEAN-MEDITERRANEAN RELATIONS”
IKV will be organising a seminar on 5-6 February 2016 where Turkey’s role as central country which is sometimes referred to as a bridge for different regions such as Europe, the Middle East, Southern Mediterranean, Caucasus, Central Asia will be discussed. The seminar which will be realised in cooperation with Barcelona Centre for International Affairs, CIDOB and the European League for Economic Cooperation, will be held at Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent Hotel.
During the seminar, Turkey’s central role and its relations with other countries will be examined within the perspectives of Turkey’s EU membership and European-Mediterranean relations. Furthermore, Turkey’s effectiveness as a European and Regional Hub will be assessed by distinguished experts in 4 different strategic areas: energy, finance, logistics and communication, production and services.
English-Turkish simultaneous translation will be provided in the seminars.
