Description:

The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to achieve a high level of mutual understanding between all sectors of civil society in Turkey and in the EU Member States, including the implications of Turkey’s EU membership.

The Call for Proposals aims to establish strong links and a high level of cooperation between civil society in Turkey and the EU Member States through civil society dialogue in the areas of agriculture, fisheries, food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary, where civil society dialogue is particularly valuable for Turkey’s successful accession to the EU.

Scope:

  • EU standards on agriculture, fisheries and food safety
  • Agricultural and economic fields

Priorities:

  • Agriculture and rural development
  • Food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary
  • Fisheries

  • Improvement of energy and environmental performances of products and production lines
  • Exchange of information, experiences, and best prices to adopt environment sensitive and energy efficient products, technologies and production processes.
