Students from the University of Minnesota and from Australia visited IKV on the 12^th January 2015 and 14^th January 2015.  IKV Secretary-General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas and IKV Deputy Secretary-General and Research Director Melih Özsöz organised a meeting where the latest developments in Turkey-EU relations and the accession negotiations process were mainly discussed.

The student group was informed by IKV Secretary-General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas on IKV activities and on Turkey’s EU membership process. Assoc. Prof. Nas evaluated the latest developments regarding the accession negotiations in Turkey’s EU membership process. IKV Deputy Secretary-General and Research Director Melih Özsöz also prepared a presentation in which he tackled the communication dimension of Turkey-EU relations.

Within the framework of their visits, American and Australian students had an opportunity to share their views and ask questions in regard to the latest developments on Turkey-EU relations.
