IKV was established 50 years ago today on 26 November 1965. IKV was founded by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Istanbul Chamber of Industry with the aim of contributing Turkey’s opening up to the world and to follow closely its integration process with Europe. Since its establishment, IKV is pursuing its activities without deviating from its original objectives.

While commemorating IKV’s founders Behçet Osmanağaoğlu and Fazıl Zobu who have shown a good example of farsighted and visionary representatives of the business community, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our former Chairmen, Members of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee, Secretary-Generals and Team of Experts for all their contribution to our Foundation.

We also owe a debt of gratitude to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, to our Trustees; and to all of our Supporters for all their support. We are looking forward to pursue our activities with the same determination.
