The last meeting of the Local Schengen Cooperation Visa Information for Business World was held in Samsun on the 12 October 2015 with the cooperation of TOBB and the Delegation of the EU in Turkey and was hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Samsun (TSO). Many businessmen from Samsun participated to this meeting.

The opening speech of the meeting was delivered by TSO Chairman Salih Zeki Murzioğlu. During the meeting, detailed information on Schengen visas of Consulates of Estonia, Germany and Austria were given to participants. IKV Deputy Secretary General and Research Director Melih Özsöz gave a presentation regarding “the Implementation of Schengen Visa Code in Turkey from the Perspective of EU Member States”. Lastly, Representative of Delegation of EU to Turkey Jörg Dieter Köstinger informed the business community about the latest developments regarding the Readmission Agreement and the Visa Liberalization Dialogue.
