IKV Chairman Ömer Cihad Vardan met with Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn during his visit to Turkey on the 9^th December 2014.   They met during a business lunch to which Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Volkan Bozkır and representatives of the business community also attended. Turkey-EU relations, accession negotiations, the strengthening of cooperation between EU and Turkish business community, the importance of SMEs for both parties were the main topics discussed during this meeting.  IKV Chairman Vardan informed about IKV’s activities. He also emphasized the key role played by the business community in Turkey-EU relations. He stressed the importance to further progress in the accession process and to include Turkey in the TTIP process.
