IKV’s new micro website entitled “Misperceptions on Turkey-EU relations” (Türkiye-AB İlişkileri Hakkında Doğru Bilinen Yanlışlar - DBY) was launched on the 11th August 2014 with the financial support of the European Union Delegation of Turkey, within the framework of Turkey's EU Information Centres Network Strengthening Project.

The content of our website which is prepared by IKV’s expert staff aims not only to provide solid and reliable information on EU and Turkey-EU relations but also to correct the commonly accepted misperceptions and misunderstandings. On our current DBY website, IKV’s expert staff tried to correct 33 of these common misperceptions regarding EU and Turkey-EU relations.

Our interactive website which is directly accessible from the https://dby.ikv.org.tr/en address as well as IKV’s own website allows our citizens to direct their questions and additional comments which will be followed up by our expert team.

We hope that our DBY website which has been prepared in a user-friendly and easy readable format will constitute a true, reliable and rapid source of information and thus contribute in correcting these misperceptions which is simply the result both of a lack of information and of prejudices which have become widespread with time.
