The Economic Development Foundation (IKV)’s 51st General Council Meeting was held on the 16th January 2014 in TOBB Plaza in Istanbul. The opening speeches of the meeting were delivered by IKV Chairman Prof. Dr. Halûk Kabaalioğlu, Eurochambers Vice-Chairman and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Minister for EU Affairs & Chief Negotiator Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. During the General Council, Members of IKV’s Board of Directors were nominated for the period covering 2013-2015.

In this General Council which was chaired by ITO President İbrahim Çağlar, İKV’s new Board of Directors were nominated. Following the General Council, the newly-elected Board of Directors held its first meeting and appointed Omer Cihad Vardan as the Chairman.
